SK21 is a software and AI consulting firm built around a simple idea: the people who sell the work should be the ones doing it. We are a focused team of senior engineers and architects with backgrounds across startups, growth companies, and enterprise. We bring that range to every engagement.
We work with companies that are moving fast and need reliable, experienced engineers alongside them, whether that means leading a greenfield build, rescuing a struggling codebase, or helping a CTO think through a hard architectural decision.
How we work
We embed into your team and your processes. We use your tools, attend your standups, and care about your product outcomes, not just the deliverable on the statement of work. Engagements can be short and focused (a code review, a discovery sprint) or ongoing (a dedicated build partner).
We keep teams small. One to three engineers on any engagement. That keeps communication clean, accountability clear, and quality high.
What we believe
Good software is simple, properly tested, and built to be changed. We default to boring technology, clear APIs, and small pull requests. We document decisions, not just code. We prefer shipping something real over designing something perfect.
We also believe the best consultants make themselves unnecessary. Our goal is to leave your team better than we found it.
